Big, handsome Lincoln was living as an outdoor "community" cat in 2020. That is why his one ear is clipped. That is the universal sign of a neutered and vaccinated community cat. Lincoln was being fed, but when he dislocated his hip, his caretakers didn't want to spend money at the vet. Purr Partners rescued him from life on the streets and got him the medical treatment he so badly needed. Lincoln was adopted in 2020 and returned in 2023 when his family lost their jobs. When he came back, he had severe ear infections. Due to the ear infection reoccurring, particularly on his left side, he received specialty surgery in 2024. He has really recovered quite well.If it wasn’t for bad luck, poor Lincoln would have no luck at all! It’s time to change all that.Because Lincoln has lost his home at least twice now, we want to make sure the next time is the last!Things to know about Lincoln:He is a big boy with a BIG personality and he can hold his own with any cat or dog. He loves people, especially men. We think he’d like to play with some kids, too. He is smart and will become bored if he doesn’t have mental and physical stimulation. He can be quite mischievous. When he wants attention, he’ll knock things off his foster mom’s desk. He was previously allowed outdoors and will try to get out. We think a screened in porch, catio, cat fence or walks on a harness would keep him satisfied. We will consider an indoor/outdoor home on a case by case basis. The perfect home for Lincoln would be a large, active household where he gets plenty of attention and stimulation. He gets along with cats and dogs after being properly introduced. If you think you can give Lincoln the perfect home, please complete an application. He is a really cool cat!For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/
