My story

Y'all...I don't think there are enough words let alone enough space in this text box to fully convey and list out all of the reasons as to why you should adopt Bobby Boy aka Bob. For starters, he is great with kids, friendly with dogs and even chickens LOL, super smart, loves to play with toys, loves the water, and best of all AFFECTIONATE. That's only the beginning, just a little preview of all the things that make Bob so great. Watch his video to really get the full picture of him and all the ways he can fit into YOUR home: https://youtu.be/WEXV-QBtyeQ?si=plG_951vwNtC9ULs Bobby Boy is a pittie mix approximately years old and currently weighs 60 lbs and is a total softie too. If you're someone that loves the big block head muscly type dogs that is as gentle as a baby duck then Bob is perfect for you. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Bob is dog friendly and is currently fostered in a home with several dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. When meeting new dogs for the very first time, he takes a slower approach and is just a little shy guy when first meeting dogs but it does not take him long for him to open up and start bouncing around with them. He isn't super playful with other dogs, he is much more of a hangout and enjoy the company of other dogs. When he does play, he likes to romp around next to his friends or he'll engage in a gentle wrestling match. He is small dog friendly too and one of his foster siblings is approximately 20 lbs give or take. In a home, he would do best with a medium energy female that enjoys the occasional play session and likes the company of another dog. Bob really is a hangout guy for the most with other dogs. Overall, Bob is more people oriented than anything and would be a great as your one and only fur baby if you don't have other dogs. He does not need the company of other dogs help him open up or to fulfill energy needs. He is a happy loving boy all on his own and his energy needs can be fulfilled with a game of fetch in the back yard, a light swim in the pool or pond, or just a simple walk around the neighborhood. Fun fact about Bob is that he is a friendly face and presence even with chickens! He free roams with chickens also free roaming at his fosters house and doesn't ever bother them. Bob doesn't even care when the chickens eat out of his food bowl!! Quite the gentleman if you ask me. If you have farm animals, even horses, Bob will be an easy addition to integrate into your life because he is already living in that type of environment. Oddly enough, even though he is good with chickens and other farm animals, he would be best in a home without a kitty friend. Guess he knows the difference between the two. We know, he already sound amazing but there is more! Bob is a very smart guy, eager to please, and treat motivated. He already has a few tricks already mastered down to science and is capable of learning so much more! He sits on a dime the second you tell him, knows the stay command, already has a decent recall, and seems to understand the "out" or "drop" command too. If you have watched his video then you saw just how attentive he is to people and how in tune he is with them. He is also really good about matching the energy. You can hype him up get him all excited and the second you stop, he stops. You'll see that in his video too. Bob is easy to walk on a leash and only pulls initially out of excitement but a simple leash correction is all it takes and he's walking like a gentleman on leash. He is crate trained and potty trained as well and has great house manners. When it comes to adventures and the outdoors, Bob loves the outdoors and spending time outside. His fosters live on acreage that has tons of areas for him to explore, space to run and get the zoomies, and a pond that he loves to swim in! His foster dad says that he believes he was born a fish in another lifetime. Bob will fetch after his toys in the pond if you throw them, he'll walk in and swim a few laps all on his own, and he never misses an opportunity to turn a rain puddle into a splash zone. No need to worry about him not wanting to go outside to potty when it's raining LOL, the rain doesn't bother him one bit. Bob would love to have a home that enjoys the water just as much as he does! He is a big pool, lake, river and ocean boy. Any sort of water activity and he is all in. Especially if his ball or stick is involved. Bob rides great in the car too, can jump in and out with out assistance, and he loves to stick his nose out of the window feeling that fresh air and breeze all over his face. Bob is such a well rounded dog that can do almost anything. He loves to play fetch, bring you his toys, tag along wherever you go, or lay with you on the couch. He is very connected to his humans. He loves to give hugs and kisses and let you know just how much he loves you. He is too sweet! He enjoys watching tv with his foster parents, snuggle up on the couch, and relax. Or while you’re working, give him a beef marrow bone and he will lay by your feet all day! He is so well mannered in the home. Bob would also make a great companion for a family with kids. He has spend time with kids as young as 4-5 years old and he was gentle and comfortable around her. He went right up to her and started giving her gentle kisses on her face, took treats from her very gently, and also was mindful about jumping on the couch next to her. He never once knocked her over, or jumped on her for affection either. Although he was trying to lean into her for affection while they were both on the couch. It was sweet. Bob wasn't bothered by the random movements little kids do all the time nor was he phased when she sat on the floor with him and was hugging him. He was just happy to be there and be loved on. Bobby Boy really is a great dog that is so versatile and would be happy in a lot of different environments/households. We do believe that he would be happiest in a home with a backyard or some land since he loves to be outdoors! We are willing to test Bobby Boy with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
