My story

Sunshine is a total sweetheart who needs an understanding person. She was originally found as a stray that was dumped in a wooded area at the back of a neighborhood. After being on her own for a month and a lady trying to catch her, they called us. It was another few weeks to a month before we were able to catch her. Sunshine is not your typical Malinois. She is quiet, laid back, and reserved. She does not seem to have to total athletic ability of most Malinois, because she is unsteady on her feet. Sunshine gets along with other dogs, does fine with kids, but doesn't necessarily know how to properly interact with cats, although she does okay with them. Sunshine was previously adopted for close to a year. She was returned because she had got after a few small free roam animals on the farm. She was originally heartworm positive, but has since completed her treatment. She will need to say up to date on her heartworm prevention.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sunshine, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
