My story

Ginseng is a bright, affectionate 3-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. He has spent over a year at the shelter. He’s had two short sleepovers where he showed just how loving and loyal he can be—sticking close to his person, soaking up affection, and learning to relax in a quieter space. This handsome guy is fully potty trained, sleeps soundly through the night (with a few charming snores), and loves to curl up in bed with you. He knows how to signal when he needs to go out and is crate trained too! Ginseng has a blast with toys, especially tennis balls and long-lasting chews like bully sticks, and loves to stash his treasures around the house. Baths and paw-cleaning? No problem. He even handled a little grooming help like a champ. He’s done well staying with new people, quickly settling after brief moments of adjustment. Ginseng is a sensitive, intelligent boy who’s eager to connect, and he would do best with adopters who can offer gentle guidance and continue supporting his transition into home life with patience and consistency. After more than a year in the shelter, Ginseng is ready for a fresh start—and just needs someone to help him discover what a real home can be. Could that be you?
