My story

Your greatest companion! Sally Hi, friends! My name is Sally, and I’m a 9-year-old spayed Lab Mix, who weighs 47 pounds.  I’ve come all the way from the streets of Tijuana to find my furever home! I arrived at TAP with a femoral and pelvic fracture from an unknown trauma and had to have my left leg amputated.  But don’t worry – being a tripod hasn’t held me down one bit! I don’t have front teeth, hence the cute smile I have! But back teeth are all good, just give me treats in the back of my mouth. And soaked kibble please or wet food! I have a glass-half-full mentality and love to live life to the fullest. My foster mama says that I’m the sweetest girl ever! I have a chill and easy-going demeanor, and I enjoy being around people (both adults and kiddos) and laying next to them wherever they go.  I also love going on walks, playing with doggie friends, sunbathing, and going on car rides.  Basically, anything you like to do, I will be there, too – lovingly watching you the whole time! I have been very loving with my doggie foster sis and gentle with her. I’m already potty-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained.  I also do just fine when left alone and show no signs of separation anxiety.  My health is in good shape, though I do need to eat soft food since I no longer have any front teeth.  If you want a loving companion with low energy, I’m your gal! I think I’d do best with an older couple, but I am great around children of all ages, too.  I prefer smaller doggie siblings – especially those on the calmer side – but no kitties, please!
