My story

Location: Morgan, MN Meet Lager, affectionately known as Sammy! This sweet, shy pup is looking for his forever home. Although he may be a bit nervous at first, he quickly bonds with his "alpha" human for guidance and reassurance. Sammy is great with kids, having spent time with our 5 and 8-year-olds, and he gets along well with our dogs, aged 2.5 and 5. As a playful puppy, he enjoys roughhousing with dogs his size but is gentle with our 30 lbs Aussie. Sammy is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, though he may pace inside until he finds a cozy spot to relax. This adventurous pup prefers the great outdoors, thriving on walks, runs, and exploring nature. He loves to chew on sticks and would do best in an active home where he can be a running partner, hiking buddy or chore buddy on a farm. Sammy is house trained and kennel trained, very food motivated, and knows basic commands like come and sit. He's still working on stay, but he excels at staying at the door. Whether as a single dog or with multiple furry friends, Sammy will soon be ready to bring joy and companionship to an active family! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
