Stout

My story

Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hello, my name is Stout, but don't let my name fool you. I'm not short and stout. In fact, my foster mom calls me a long, lean, licking machine! I am full of love and energy. I love to be around people, and I follow foster mom everywhere she goes. I have some separation anxiety, which I take meds for, so I am kenneled when home alone. I like to be outside playing with the other foster dogs and running around like I am in a race. I also do really well with the cats in my foster home. I am a power chewer so I need tough bones and chews to keep me busy. I love food and treats and eat every meal like it's my last. I also love to play with toys and really like squeakies. At a previous foster I was also an escape artist and used to jump the privacy fence. Since coming to my new foster, I have stayed home and behave myself. But foster mom says I do need to work on my manners as I like to jump up on people, although she says I've been making a lot of progress. I know how to sit, but when I am excited to see my foster mom, sometimes I forget, but she has been working very hard with me to remember. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
