Elvis was found as a stray at about 8 months old, very emaciated and scared. With some love and patience, Elvis is a happy, fun loving cuddle bug today. He has high energy and is always up to playing with squeaky toys or go on walks. At first, Elvis tries to dodge his harness, but with a treat he is all ears. Elvis tends to have a strong whimper cry when he sees other dogs at times. Elvis barks at new people too but he is just a bit scared and shy, and eventually warms up. He loves all the pets and belly rubs. He is currently in a foster home with 2 female dogs. He seems to get along with them well and loves to play tug with them. Elvis knows a few tricks as well such as sit, lay down, paw, and roll over. He can also go inside his crate if you say, "crate. Elvis also hits a little bell to go outside. We are trying to have him use it for "potty but sometimes he just wants to go out and play. He is also working on "stay. Elvis is very food motivated and loves carrots. He is neutered. This boy is looking for his furever home! Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to meet him. Per Foster on 2/28- Elvis is doing great. He has been learning a lot and has settled in well with our dogs. Elvis has plenty of energy when he is with our pups, but alone he is very quiet and just likes to nap. Elvis is a big cuddle bug and will lay himself onto you whenever he gets the chance. Surprisingly he has done very well with children. We had our friends over with their two children, one has autism and was reaching for his tail quite often, but Elvis did not mind the two petting him and playing with him. He has had a few of these play dates when our friend comes over. He seemed to know his size and strength and never jumped on any of the kids, played with them for a few hours and just napped. He is also easy to walk on the leash. We have also had Elvis in a crowded environment with 20-30 people and he was not bothered. Everything is the same to his current post on the acct page except he is very easy to get on the leash now. Behavior: Elvis still gets reactive when seeing other dogs and strangers He also gets nervous and begins to shake sometimes when he sees other dogs or strangers; we can't tell if it stems from fear or excitement. His personality is very different when he is in the house without our other two dogs. We had our other two dogs away for a few days and Elvis was very calm and loved his naps. Super playful, will start playing with our dogs as soon as he is up. VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/OYkquyQ9SKw?feature=share
