My story

Atticus came to the owners as a protector to another kitten he came in with who was not a healthy kitten and very tiny and underweight. She was also semi blind and had other birth defects. He has been her protector and was a very good companion and guardian to her. She has since passed on and he has been trying to fit into the rest of the colony in the home which basically is a hospice home for failing or handicapped pets. But the other kitties in the home are making things hard for him and they are exhibiting territorial issues towards Atticus now that he doesn't have a job taking care of the kitten any longer. Now he needs a normal home where he's not part of a large colony of handicap pets. We guess his job is done and he's being crowded out. It's time for him to have a life of a healthy, happy cat. He really likes people and would be best in a home as a single kitty, a companion to a human. He's okay around dogs so that might be okay if there is one cat friendly dog. He's never had issues with dogs or vice versa. But he's so sweet and friendly and is a people lover in a big way. He has a stunning black and grey coat that is thick and in beautiful shape. He's a snuggler and great buddy for someone who might be lonely and he will reveal in having a home he is the only cat in. We are looking for a smoke free home for him with someone who is home often. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me at marlas2468@yahoo.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Atticus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
