My story

Located in Cambridge, ON. Microchipped, DOB September 11, 2022 This girl is beautiful and sweet, and she also has quite a personality! She’s confident enough to sleep wherever she wants, but skittish enough to take off running if you so much as look like you’re about to stand up in her presence; but given time to relax and trust her new humans, she is very capable of allowing you to move freely within your home without her judgement. And she *will* judge you! Your audacity bewilders her and she will tilt her head in a “What do you think you’re doing?” way that is beyond adorable. Mrs. Hudson has found it difficult to relax around humans. She’s never been aggressive, but she’s been very shy and skittish. She has just not had the best luck with humans before being fostered. She loves other cats and is not opposed to being given all the treats imaginable, but she is still very skittish when it comes to loud noises and quick movements. And sometimes she still hisses when she’s taken by surprise. However, she has learned that humans are not so bad, and now she requests pets when she’s in the mood (and boy is her coat soft!). Mrs Hudson does have a habit of slapping. She doesn’t use claws, again she's not aggressive, she just feels like if you’re gonna touch her, she should also get to touch you too. And sometimes she just needs you to know you’re petting her wrong, but she’s usually willing to give you a chance to redeem yourself, she’s very forgiving. She isn't always chatty, but when she is, she lets herself be heard! And despite being shy she is super playful and energetic. She would love to have a playful cat friend in her forever home, though she is also happy to run around with her toys by herself and play like she’s still a kitten. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mrs. Hudson, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
