He absolutely loves car adventures. - Smarty Paws: Already knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down." Eager to please (and learn more!). - Polite Treat Taker: Has impeccable manners and takes snacks oh-so-gently. - Expert-Level Toy Lover: Loves his toys and bones to chew on. - Spa Day Approved: Handles bath time like a champ – squeaky clean and hassle-free! He also likes going in the water on the Sunday Hikes. - Trail Buddy Extraordinaire: Walks like a dream on leash and is ready to conquer hikes with you. - Fetch Fanatic: Game on! Bellamy LOVES a good game of fetch. *Bellamy is Lyme and Ehrlichia positive. Treatment is typically 28 days of doxycycline (an inexpensive antibiotic). With this disease, a dog may always test positive even if treated. The adopter is responsible for treatment. It's always a good idea to plan to keep your dog on a joint supplement for life. Requirements And Donations - Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS). - Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. - Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies. - Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available.
