My story

Calling all boxer fans!! I'm Bart, a 10-month-old Boxer mix with a great smile and some pep in his step! I'm on the lookout for my forever home. I came in from animal control, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I'm ready to make new memories with you! The staff here says I'm such a happy guy that my tail is always wagging. I wag it so much that the end of it gets a little sore from hitting my kennel. But that's just because I'm full of love and excitement! I adore being around people and other dogs, and I'm always ready to give and receive affection. When we're out on walks, I have low to medium energy. I can follow commands and know how to sit. I'm usually pretty easy to walk, but I do pull a bit at first, especially if I want to greet another dog. I don't chase after ducks, geese, or bicyclists, so you don't have to worry about that. I'm friendly to everyone I meet, both dogs and people. Even though I can get a little excited at the beginning of a walk, I'm not fearful at all. I'm just eager to explore and make new friends.
