My story

Meet Billy, a 3.5-year-old medium mixed breed with a zest for life that’s absolutely contagious! This playful guy bursts onto the scene full of energy, always ready for fun, but once he’s burned off his zoomies, he’s a champion cuddler. Billy is a treat enthusiast, loves long walks (though he may pull at first before settling in), and is an expert at chasing toys like it’s his mission. And his hidden talent? Catching blueberries mid-air like a pro! Billy is searching for a family that will embrace his playful, curious nature and provide plenty of outdoor adventures, snuggles, and, of course, a steady supply of blueberries. While he can be a bit reactive to his crate and isn’t shy about voicing his opinion, he calms down beautifully after a good walk and some belly rubs. He adores toys—especially Nylabones and crinkly stuffed animals—and has a knack for playing keep-away, ensuring endless entertainment. Billy does well with other dogs but thrives with slow introductions and a calm home. He takes time to warm up to new people, especially men, and benefits from a low-traffic environment where he can settle in at his own pace. He may need a few visits to feel fully comfortable, but once he does, he’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. If you’re willing to put in a little extra patience and love, Billy will reward you with endless affection, fun, and plenty of goofy moments!
