My story

Meet Dorothy! This petite tabby girl may be small, but she’s full of personality, curiosity, and love! Dorothy is a 1-year-old spayed female with the softest brown and black stripes and the cutest little pink nose you ever did see. Found with her siblings on a naval base, Dorothy was rescued just in time and has been thriving in her foster home ever since. She’s an adventurous spirit—always the first to investigate anything new—and she’s a total sweetheart who loves to snuggle. Her favorite spot? Curled up behind your knees while you’re lying in bed. Dorothy is great with the other cats and small dogs in her foster home, and while she hasn’t met any small children, her foster mom thinks she’d do well with them too thanks to her friendly, easygoing nature. She’s not part of a bonded pair, but she would enjoy a friendly companion—or could shine as the queen of her new home. She’s also a playful little goofball! Whether she’s darting through a play tunnel, chasing a wand toy, or pouncing like a monkey during her zoomies, Dorothy always brings the laughs. And when it’s time to relax, she’ll happily nap in the cat tree or snuggle up on the bed. She’s not picky about her food—Dorothy enjoys both wet and dry meals—and she lives for Churu treats. The only thing she’s not too thrilled about? Nail trims! If you're looking for a sweet, curious, and cuddly companion who’s already proven she’s a survivor, Dorothy is your girl.
