Karate- Special Needs

My story

Say hello to Karate! She is a 3 year old Pit bull mix who weighs about 60 pounds. Karate can be shy with new people, but after a slow introduction she is a playful girl who loves to show off her moves. She is the perfect blend of playful and laid back and will gladly spend her time self occupying with her squeaky toys or cuddling with you on the couch. After a play session or some time outside she is ready to relax for the day. With a slow introduction, Karate shows potential to live with another dog, but she needs a slow introduction because she can be intense with new dogs. Due to her initial sensitivity, if there are kids in her forever home they need to be ages 10-13 and older. Karate has had a spinal injury in the past. Her back legs seem to swing and give out when she walks or gets overexcited. She is on pain medication for this which keeps her comfortable. She doesn`t need any type of physical support such as a wheelchair. Karate doesn`t let that injury stop her! She loves to run and play!
