My story

Meet our sweet pup Baxter who is both lovable and smart and only nine months old! He appears to be a boxer and lab mix, but he only weighs about 35-40 pounds and is fairly short. In fact, from his shoulders to the ground is about 22 inches. He has the most darling ears that are so expressive of his excitement and all other feelings. The white blaze down his face is a gorgeous contrast to his dark and sparkly eyes. Baxter loves kids and playing with his toys, but don't worry: when that doorbell rings, he makes sure everyone hears his big bark, and he's right by your side ready to either defend you or shower love on your guests. Baxter is housebroken and sleeps with his foster parents at night. Like all young dogs, Baxter is a chewer and loves his chewbones and tough toys. His foster has been working on leash training with him, and he is progressing well without pulling unless another dog he wants to meet is nearby. A pup like Baxter needs a fenced yard where he can run around and play. He would likely make a great adventure companion and family dog, especially for hikes and walks. Baxter is staying with his foster near Sunset Hills, Missouri. His adoption fee is $325. He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Want to learn more about Baxter?
