My story

Meet Walker! Walker has truly blossomed in his foster home. Intelligent and snuggly, he will keep you smiling with his playful antics. He is potty-trained, crate-trained, and mostly good at greeting people politely - about 90% of the time - sometimes even giving a gentle hug!True to his name, Walker loves going for walks. He is excellent on leash and knows commands like “heel” and “leave it.” Always ready for an adventure, he enjoys car rides, hikes, and even flirting with drive-thru attendants. He has a best friend named Rubio nearby, and they get to play together regularly.Walker’s eyes and distinguished markings, along with his quirky fox-like ears, make him truly unique. He is bouncy and goofy, learning to tolerate baths and paw wipes, though nail trims are still a challenge!He is a social butterfly who loves making friends with dogs, kids, and adults alike. His puppy energy is best suited for a family with older children, as sometimes he forgets his size. He is cautious around canes but can likely overcome this with patient exposure. Walker has a playful and interactive style with other dogs and is learning to be gentle with smaller dogs and cats. He enjoys toys, watching the world from the window, and snuggling on the sofa.Walker knows many commands - come, sit, stay, down, paw, kennel - and is working on others like place and touch. Though enthusiastic about cats and showing some prey drive, he respects the resident kitty and enjoys short visits. He would love a feline friend to play with in his forever home.A well-fenced backyard is recommended, as Walker can jump high and his curiosity might tempt him to chase small animals.This beautiful boy will fill your home with love, laughter, and joy. Walker deserves a loving family ready to embrace his spirited and affectionate nature.
