Meet Starfish: The Sweet, Shy Girl with a Growing Heart. Starfish is a gentle, laid-back girl who’s slowly but surely blossoming in her foster home. While she’s still a bit shy, she’s made amazing progress—she now confidently approaches her foster for nose bumps and even gives sweet little forehead licks! She’s not much of a talker, rarely meowing, but her quiet presence speaks volumes about her affectionate nature. Starfish isn’t big on toys, but give her a scratching post and she’s all in—scratching is her favorite pastime. She also enjoys a little catnip here and there, but just a small dose—too much can be a bit overwhelming for her sensitive side. She knows her name and will come when called, showing just how much she’s learning to trust and connect with people. While she’s fine being picked up, she does get a little wiggly if held for too long. Starfish loves attention, but on her own terms—gentle pets, cozy naps, and a peaceful environment are her ideal vibe. She gives love bites to show her affection; sometimes they’re gentle, and other times a bit more spirited, but she’s never broken the skin. Starfish would thrive in a calm, dog-free home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. She doesn’t mind the company of other cats, making her a great companion if you have feline friends.
