My story

Ramen is a 4-year-old male with stunning inquisitive eyes and a quiet, curious spirit. He originally came to us from an overcrowded NYC shelter as a skittish kitten and has been one of our longest residents since arriving in March 2023. He would love to finally have the safe home he deserves!Still shy around people, Ramen has made beautiful progress—now calmly walking around and spending time near us, slowly growing more comfortable in shared spaces. He remains sensitive to sudden movements and loud noises, so he’ll need a calm, quiet home with patient, understanding adopters who can support him as he continues to build trust.Though he isn’t yet comfortable with handling, Ramen has never tried to hurt anyone—he’s simply shy. His gentle nature is clear, and he communicates his discomfort quietly and respectfully.Ramen loves other cats and is one of the most cat-social residents at our rescue.
