Girly

My story

Girly showed up in my neighborhood approximately three months ago. She was very malnourished but full of spirit and eager for some love and affection. She is now in a great place health wise. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed. She is a pitbull mix and is 1 year and 5 months old. She is young and full of energy. She loves to play catch and enjoys running and playing with older kids and other medium to big dogs. When she gets tired she will lay flat on her belly on the floor to cool down or will take a long nap in her crate. She is house trained, crate trained and she is great in the car when going to the vet or anywhere else. She does like to play a little rough which is why she will do better with older kids and medium to big dogs. She is also getting over her destructive phase but will still destroy things here and there when she gets bored. She loves chew toys, but nothing filled with peanut butter or anything else. She enjoys her dental sticks after her meals and Milkbone treats in between meals or for good behavior. She is an indoor dog but will need a good sized, fenced in yard so that she can run, play and get her energy out. Girly is a great dog that deserves all the love, cuddles and affection she can get. Girly is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
