My story

Astrid may be a senior citizen, but someone forgot to tell her that! She has plenty of pep in her step and a playful streak a mile wide. This smart and affectionate girl is housebroken, loves car rides, and enjoys being part of everything her people do. She’s already mastered sit, shake, lay down, stay, come, drop it, go to bed, and even “get it” (where she jumps up and catches a treat in her mouth). Astrid is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—she loves tug-of-war with a big rope or a deflated football, rolling in the grass, and even splashing in water for some extra fun. But when it’s time to relax, she’s all about cuddling, belly rubs, and being as close to her people as possible. She’s incredibly in tune with emotions, offering gentle snuggles when her family needs comfort. She adores kids and naturally adjusts her play style to be gentle with them, making her an ideal family dog.Astrid would be a perfect companion in most any home.
