My story

Are you a jazzophile? A real word for those that love jazz music, we’re borrowing it to show what big fans we are of our boy Jazz! Jazz music represents freedom & individuality evoking feelings of love & excitement and that holds true for this big guy as well. Jazz was found standing in front of an elementary school alone during the summer of ’24. He’s a young, playful dog that is long overdue for his freedom walk from the shelter to his forever family. He’s one of a kind with his big noggin, giant smile, eyes of green-gold & beautiful red coat. He enjoys affection, but likes his independence as well. He would love to trim off some shelter weight by sharing nice walks & beloved games of fetch. He’s never met a tennis ball he doesn’t like & even enjoys carrying one around in his mouth! He’s done well at the shelter with other friendly, medium to mild energy dogs, but we always recommend proper & slow dog introductions. Jazz would thrive with a patient, dog-savvy owner able to provide this inexperienced, strong boy with structure & guidance on how to be the best boy he can be.
