My story

**Located in Korea** Meet Puss and Boots, a brave and charming dog with a heart of gold! Puss and Boots had a tough start in life, rescued from a dangerous snare that left his paws injured. This experience left him with deep trauma, and he's understandably sensitive about anyone touching his remaining paws, however he is completely healed from his injury physically and can walk and run and play just like any other active dog! We are looking for a special family for Puss and Boots – one that understands the importance of patience and giving him the time he needs to adjust to a new environment. With the right love and care, we believe Puss and Boots can blossom into the confident and happy dog he was always meant to be. Despite his past hardships, he is a truly lovable and friendly companion. He captures the hearts of everyone he meets with his irresistible charm. We would love to keep in touch with his new family and hear about his progress in the future. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a courageous and affectionate dog, then Puss and Boots is waiting to embark on a new adventure with you. Give him the chance he deserves to experience love, safety, and happiness once again. Adopt Puss and Boots and be a part of his extraordinary journey! Personality & Characteristics:  Good with: Dogs Trained: House trained Keywords: Gentle, Friendly  Energy Level: 7-8 (High energy) Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Rarely barks, but howls with joy when waking up and seeing his guardian. Walking Manners: Quite well-mannered while walking, rarely pulls on the leash, but gets excited when he sees cats and birds. Appetite: Has a good appetite. Does the following: No car sickness, No separation anxiety, Not crate trained (but gets into the crate by himself in the car). Favorite Things: Physical contacts, toys, food. Can be a bit wary if other dogs try to take his toys or food. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States. ##1783145##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Puss in Boots, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
