My story

Hi, I’m Chuck! I’m a young, fun-loving guy (just under 3 years old!) with a heart full of goofiness and a coat full of style—gray fur, a splash of white on my chest and muzzle, and the cutest little no-see socks on my feet. I came to the shelter as a lost pup, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I’m all about looking forward to a future full of love, playtime, and cozy naps.I’ve got lots of energy and a big zest for life, and I’m ready to share it all with my new favorite human—you! I did test positive for heartworms, but don’t worry—the shelter helps with treatment, and I’m more than ready to get started on the road to a healthy, happy life.If you’re looking for a silly sidekick with a charming smile and a heart as big as his personality, come meet me. I’m Chuck, and I can’t wait to go home with you.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
