Markie Brown

My story

Markie is a playful young cat brown tabby cat. He was abandoned outside and trapped for TNR. He was so very friendly that he just couldn’t be put back outside. Markie had an unfortunate run-in with a car and his pelvis was broken in two places. He has healed remarkably well and is still in the process of healing. He can run and play just like any other kitty and is so sweet, but still favors his back, right leg and foot but is getting better every day. Due to the injury to his pelvis, Markie needs to be fed wet food only and have fiber and a stool softener added to his food so that he can have normal bowel movements. These additives to his food aren’t expensive, are easily added to his food and he eats it all up, no problem. A good supply of each will be provided to his adopter. He can’t have dry food but can have any good wet food, no special food is required. This may get better over time; he is just not there yet. Markie is very sweet, and loving cat, very interactive and playful. He can be held or will just lay with you while you sleep. He loves to rub on your legs when you are working in the kitchen. He likes to play with other cats so to be adopted with a cat friend would be great. He is fine with calm dogs as well. As with most cats, he sleeps quite a bit during the day with short play periods in between. He is also very faithful to his litter box. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FiV/FeLV.
