My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LA💟 Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Update Account: @imbo_family_ 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2. Rescue Story * Binnie spent a long time at the Gimje Shelter, unable to be rescued due to the limited space at our center facility. His sudden weight loss raised concerns about his health, prompting an urgent rescue. 3. Basic Information * With People: Likes people, but is shy by nature. Is uncomfortable and growls a bit if strangers try to touch him, so he is taking training. However, he opens his heart quickly if you have treats and wait for him to come to you. Becomes an energetic bundle of affection once he becomes familiar! * With Dogs: Gets along calmly with other dogs, but isn’t the type to show a lot of interest. Doesn’t usually say hi first, but is polite and greets new dogs back if they approach during walks. Showed defensive biting when dog friends suddenly approached him but he is getting better as he meets them many times. * With Cats: Behaves gently and patiently when encountering cats. * Separation Anxiety: Almost none! Spends his alone time napping or relaxing. Sometimes plays with his ball. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor pottying but is also well-trained to use indoor pads. * Hygiene: Cooperates very well with bathing, brushing, drying, and toothbrushing. * Walks: Loves going for walks and matches his pace to the handler. Has shown slight sensitivity to motorcycle noises but has improved significantly with exposure. Crosses streets calmly and observes his surroundings carefully. Sometimes defensively barks at the people running towards him. * Car Sickness: Rests in the car without any signs of motion sickness. 4. Special Notes * Knows commands like “sit,” “lie down,” “shake,” “other paw,” “nose," "high five” and “kiss.” * Barks and shows defensive biting behavior when strangers visit home, but he's gradually getting used with consistent training. * Is afraid of stairs in the building so he is slowly taking training with treats, but is not accustomed yet and moving to be held by caretaker.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Binnie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
