My story

Meet Cindy, a vibrant and affectionate pup with a heart full of love and a spirit that’s just waiting to soar! Since arriving at the shelter on 5/30/24, Cindy has been a social butterfly, winning over everyone she meets with her boundless energy and charming personality. She’s heartworm negative and ready for a fresh start, but what she needs most right now is a foster home to provide the structure, patience, and one-on-one attention she deserves. Cindy’s vocal nature is part of her unique charm—she may bark or whine when she sees other dogs, but it’s all enthusiasm and no aggression. She’s housebroken, loves people, and enjoys spending time with well-mannered canine companions in small groups. While she’s made great strides in her leash skills, she can still pull a bit in her excitement. Cindy has shown some resource guarding around food in kennel settings, so she’ll do best with a home who can offer understanding and clear boundaries. With your help, Cindy can finally get the love and space she needs to thrive on her journey to a forever home.
