Lilah

My story

Lilah is a beautiful female Belgian Malinois estimated around 2 years of age. Lilah was a stray therefore we do not know her history or background prior to arrival at the shelter.    Lilah is a very sweet and social girl who has clearly been well socialized in the past. She loves people and is really looking for "her" person to bond with. Lilah is eager to please, wicked smart, and a bit of a trickster. She may present as a unicorn amongst Mals - calm, social, and not toy motivated... but once you get to know her she is a typical chaos queen who wants to be involved in everything that is going on, views 5 miles as a warmup, and happily hunts any woodland creatures that may invade the yard. True to her breed Lilah has energy and prey drive to spare and is seeking a home that understands working breed dogs and is willing to give her appropriate outlets.   Lilah is hit or miss with other dogs as she is a dominate queen-bee with a high drive. Lilah is Intense and few other dogs tolerate her level of wild in the play yard. She does well ignoring other dogs while out and about and has been able to adjust to a small playgroup with supervision. Lilah is NOT safe for a home with cats or other small animals.    Lilah is a smart, loyal, and sweet girl who is looking for a home that will return the dedication she freely gives.
