My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Pogun🥰 Pogeun had stayed at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time. He has a mild and friendly nature with other dogs. Sadly, a severe disc injury led to emergency surgery for hind limb paralysis. He bravely underwent surgery and is undergoing physical rehabilitation. * With People: Is initially shy but becomes incredibly affectionate if you give him enough time to greet. Loves people and enjoys being petted. * With Dogs: Is initially wary of new dogs, but gets along well with all his canine friends when given time. If other dogs disturb him while he’s resting, he may growl as a warning. * With Cats: Becomes excited when seeing cats and tries to chase them when their movement is quick, so careful management is required. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides communally at our center. Is fine staying with other the dogs. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty. Occasionally makes pee mistakes indoors, especially when becoming excited and having his hind legs tense up, regardless of his will. Has a marking issue indoors and outdoors, so needs training. * Hygiene: Handles all aspects of grooming well, including baths, brushing, nail trimming, teeth cleaning, and ear cleaning. Does so well with the hair dryer that he sleeps through it without getting scared. * Walks: Loves and does well on walks but occasionally gets highly excited. Pulls on the leash when excited, but it is not that strong to be out of control. Can walk or even run without a support brace. * Car Sickness: Generally rides well in a car, though he may sometimes drool slightly. * Gives a warning when other dogs poke at him without manners, and bites them if he continue to bother him. * Tends to bark when hearing outside noise. * Loves humans most. Like treats too. * ls scared of objects like sticks. Fears vacuum cleaners, and people or large objects suddenly and largely moving. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, heartworm negative upon retest, and is undergoing physical rehabilitation for a herniated disc. * Has restarted physical rehabilitation. Undergoing treatment twice a week. * Has periodontitis and his gums are itchy. Must receive consistent tooth brushing.
