My story

Friendly, Cuddly, Calm Meet Fire Alarm! Contrary to her name, this sweet girl just likes to relax and get some snuggles from you. If anything, she prefers to take a more cautious approach and will take her time to adjust to a new setting before sounding any kind of alarms! Fire Alarm will take a more observant role initially, but as she settles in to a new space, her affectionate side will come out quickly! Her favorite hobby is definitely watching the world around her, especially from a cat tree - what her people are up to, what's going on outside the windows, she likes to see it all! She's also a bit of an explorer and likes to find all the little nooks and crannies in her home. Fire Alarm adores spending time with adults, and has had positive interactions with kids ages 6 and up as well! She has shown interest in befriending her feline roommates in the past, and could do well as the sole pampered cat, or with another laidback feline sibling. Fire Alarm has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Fire Alarm can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Currently, she is being treated for an eye issue and receives daily eye meds. Any questions?
