My story

"ERMIONI" is a GREEK HOUND MIX about 2 years old and weights aprox. 15kg. She is a GREEK HOUND MIX, about 2 and a half years old and weighs aprox. 15kg. or 33 lbs. Gentle and kind "ERMIONI " was found by one of SPFG members tied up to a tree deep in the woods. It’s a miracle that we found her soon after she was abandoned as she was decimated by hunger and thirst. Had our team mate not wandered by that spot on his walk with his dogs, poor "ERMIONI" would have either died a horrible and slow death or would have been killed by a wild animal. He took her to our vet for all the appropriate exams and then to the security of our sanctuary. In time, SPFG had “ERMIONI” spayed, fully vaccinated, vetted, and micro-chipped. She’s also been leash trained and housebroken. "ERMIONI", like most hunting dogs, is very human centered while also very social with other animals. She adores interacting with people, craves human touch and is quite vocal and demonstrative. Her outdoor energy pivots into a soft calmness when inside the house. "ERMIONI" loves to please and has a sensitive nature, so she needs gentle and calm care. She will fill her forever home with love, affection and a lot of cuddling.
