ABOUT MAMA Looking for an extra loving girl? Come meet Mama! This sweet girl is a 2-year-old fluffy tabby with an enlarged heart, literally! Mama came to HAP when her owner became aware of her condition and was not able to care for her. She is the sweetest girl, which makes sense because her heart is extra large. While this may shorten her lifespan, Mama is not in any pain and managed with an affordable medication, that has shown improvements! She is extremely affectionate with all people, leaning in for pets or curling up on your lap. She enjoys sunbathing by the windows, climbing high on towers to observe, hanging with her feline friends, and playing with feather wands! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
