Ralphie

My story

We just can’t figure out how this huggable, handsome dog has not been adopted yet! He is just about perfect and nobody has even come to meet him! Ralphie is a three-year-old Golden Retriever/Shepherd blend. He was picked up as a stray, and was a favorite with the staff at Animal Care Services and they pleaded for us to take him minutes before he was to be euthanized. We did and he certainly deserved it! Ralphie currently lives with two teenage boys and a small, senior Terrier. He loves to lay out in the sun, hang out and watch football with everyone, go on car rides and run or walk in the neighborhood. In addition to his athleticism and social skills, Ralphie is a very confident dog. He is not afraid of fireworks, the vacuum cleaner, or anything else that we have found. He is house-trained, too, and goes into his kennel on command. Ralphie is very adaptable and would do great in most environments. He would make a wonderful addition to your family.
