My story

Meet Finn, a striking 3-year-old Husky mix who was originally transferred to Big Dog Ranch from another Florida shelter in hopes of finding a loving home. Though he was adopted once before, he was returned through no fault of his own—and now he’s ready for his second chance. Finn is full of that classic Husky energy: lively, intelligent, and always up for adventure. Because of his high energy level and breed traits, he would do best with an adopter who has prior experience with Huskies or similar breeds, and who understands the exercise, structure, and mental stimulation these dogs need to thrive. This handsome boy is good on a leash, housetrained, and knows his basic commands. He’s friendly with other dogs and great with kids, making him a wonderful addition to an active family. Finn also loves to cuddle when it’s time to wind down, play with toys, and splash around in the water. Due to his high prey drive, Finn is not suited for homes with cats. He’ll do best in an active environment with someone who can offer consistent training, daily activity, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion who’s equal parts playful and affectionate, Finn might be your perfect match!
