They were adopted over 10 years ago by this family friend, and she worked as a piano teacher so the home was always full of the company of children, visitors, and lovely music.   Since her passing, they were placed with a temporary foster who is unable to care for them after May 30th so they are in urgent need of a place to land while they search for their forever home. After living in the same home for 10+ years these boys are certainly stressed from so much recent change, though they tend to calm down and warm up when piano music is played. Rocco is the gray boy, with a high pitched voice and adores cuddles, once he feels safe. Miko is more of an independent and curious big guy. You may catch him wandering the halls with a heavy prance and cute overbite, giving him a vampire-esque smile. He loves kids though!   They are in need of a very patient and caring person to take them in. Do you know anyone who is willing to take them in and give them the care they need while they look for a forever home? They are both healthy seniors, though Rocco has special dietary needs, but otherwise healthy and vaccinated.I’m a family friend who lives out of state with pets of my own in a small apartment so sadly am unable to travel with them to me, but I will be available to support their care remotely until we find them a loving forever home.Please let me know and share widely.
