My story

Sweet Pea had a tough beginning. She was pregnant and came from a hoarding situation with horrible living conditions. She was never solicalized, therefore, is completely afraid of strangers.  She has high trust issues. She has warmed up to those of us who care for her. She loves to give kisses to your hand and gets very excited when she sees us, but that's as far as it goes. Her want to feel affection is obvious but her ability to accept it is low. She needs someone with patience, understanding, and  willingness to give her space and time to trust and hopefully one day allow the touch of affection. Adoption fees include: For puppies:  First year's vaccines, including Bordetella, microchip, and deworming.                                                                                                                                                                          Adult dog:     Vaccinations are current, microchip, dewormed and spay/neuter.                                                                                                                                               If you have current pets, we offer a Foster to Adopt Program, in which you have a two week trial period to make sure the animals get along, it's a good fit, and your beginning to bond.                         Countryside Animal Rescue is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 3pm by appointment only.Appointments can be made by calling 707-542-5582 or emailing countrysiderescuesr@gmail.com.  Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your appointment before arriving to ensure we are properly staffed for your visit.Drop-In (Without an appointment) Satruday from 11am to 3pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.                                                                                                                                                Please complete our online applicationat  : https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18   ##1952596##
