Oreo 🦴

My story

We prefer adopters be within 1 hour drive of Claymont, DE 19703. Sweet Oreo joined All Our Love Animal Rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. Oreo is a typical chi, tiny who thinks he’s mighty🙄 He likes to play with other pups, but he likes to be the boss so let’s call him dog selective. He was an only pup before coming into the rescue, and he would be fine as an only pup, but play dates with friends is always a good thing, to help keep him from becoming reactive when out and about. Oreo does get nervous in the car, so foster mom is taking him out on small errands in hope that he becomes more comfortable and can relax. Oreo definitely is all snuggles when it’s his turn to sleep with foster mom. We feel Oreo would do best in an adult home, with teenagers and older. We do require chihuahua experience. This breed can be spicy at times, and the parents can’t or shouldn’t allow them to rule the house. Once everyone knows their true place in the pack, spoiling them rotten and allowing them to think they are the boss can be fun at times. But they need that structure at first. Oreo has been neutered, vaccinated, HW & Lyme checked (both negative) and he is microchipped. If you would like to inquire more about Oreo please email us at AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com.
