You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Simba is a very shy, front-declawed cat who has never been lucky enough to find his ideal home. He and his foster mom are hoping his luck will finally change.   Simba currently lives freely in a foster facility with 15 other cats. He gets along fine with the other cats but tends to keep to himself and stay in the background. Following a recent dental procedure and stay at the vet hospital, Simba needed to stay in a room by himself to recover. His foster mom was able to pet him for the first time ever during that time period! Simba was nervous at first but once the petting began, he found that he loved it! When Simba was released from his private room, that unfortunately stopped, as he went back to his former behavior of staying out of reach. So, what Simba really needs and wants is a quiet, adult-only home with someone who understands he will need time and patience before allowing himself to be petted again. He could be an only cat or live with one or two others, but is not comfortable with dogs.   Simba is fully up to date with vet care, FeLV/FIV negative and uses the litter box perfectly. If you think you might be the understanding person Simba is hoping to find, his foster mom will be very happy to speak with you.
