My story

Meet Bitbit This 1-year-old Maltipoo may look like a fluffy little lap dog, but her personality is more cat than canine! Bitbit is independent, mellow, and reserved—she doesn’t seek out affection, but she’s perfectly content receiving it on her own terms. She thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident pup to show her the ropes. Bitbit came to us from a property where small dogs were running loose and neglected. She arrived badly matted and in need of care, but thanks to the efforts of three rescues, she is now safe and blooming in foster care. She’s crate trained, great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and older children, and she rides well in the car. If you’re looking for a calm, low-maintenance companion who marches to the beat of her own drum—and loves her furry friends—Bitbit may just be your perfect match.
