My story

Are you searching for the perfect medium-sized lap dog? Then meet Tilly, a 6 month-old mutt, whose favorite hobby is being in your lap!  Tilly is a little bit of everything! According to her sister Twyla’s breed test, Tilly would likely be part beagle, pit bull, boxer, German shepherd, Australian shepherd, bulldog, Eskimo dog and even a little bit of chihuahua!  Tilly’s beagle-mix mama only weighed 15 pounds so we’re guessing that’s where Tilly’s tiny bit of chihuahua heritage comes from. Tilly is on track to be a nice medium-sized dog when full grown, likely topping out at 40-something pounds. Tilly does have the beagle bark, but she rarely uses it. Only when truly necessary!  Tilly has been in a foster home with her two sisters for eight weeks now, and their foster mom says these girls are the easiest foster puppies she’s ever had. They are fully potty trained and sleep in individual crates overnight with zero complaining. Tilly is super sweet toward her two sisters and adores the adult dogs in her foster home.  Tilly loves to play and run around the yard, but she spends most of the day lounging and napping.  Tilly enjoys the company of kids, and she is very chill for a puppy and very loving. She’s also super food motivated, which should make training a breeze. Her sweet, easygoing personality and medium size should make her an easy addition to almost any family.  Her foster mom hopes her new family will have the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be with daily exercise and lots of love and attention.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tilly, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
