My story

Angus aka Gus looks like a Hound / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. This handsome big boy is around 7-years-young and is a big baby at 90lbs. Gus was found roaming the streets of Fort Lauderdale about a year ago, when one of our dedicated volunteers found him and brought him to the rescue. For the last year, Gus has been collecting stuffed animals and melting hearts with his sweet loving ways. Angus is crate and potty trained. He is very strong, but with the proper guidance, he walks well on a leash. This gentle giant loves his stuffed toy. You'll often find him nursing on his stuffed toys or his bed as he lays by your feet. Gus would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a strong pack leader. He has done well meeting other dogs with a slow introduction. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. To meet Angus, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org.
