My story

Meet Sloan! Sloan is a sweet and sensitive 1 year old male German Shepherd looking for a calm, kid-free home where he can feel safe and truly thrive. He’s wonderful on a leash and loves going for walks—staying active and spending time with his people is one of his favorite things. While Sloan can be a bit timid around loud noises or unfamiliar situations, he’s a smart, eager-to-please pup who just needs a little patience and reassurance to build his confidence. He already knows basic commands like sit, lay down, shake, and stay. Sloan is also very friendly with other dogs and enjoys playtime with canine companions. During the day, he appreciates having his own quiet space to relax—but at night, don’t be surprised when he climbs into bed, ready for snuggles.
