My story

Dako is a special guy waiting for his special person. Due to his traumatic past, he is shy around new people and a bit selective when it comes to making friends. His ideal future owner will take the time to get to know him and build a trusting relationship. Once Dako trusts you, it truly is so special! He just wants to cuddle in your lap and walk right by your side. Dako has shown some dog reactivity and a high prey drive. For these reasons, we would like to see him go to an adult-only household where he is the only pet. Our vets believe that when Dako was a puppy he had joint malformation which required splints. It seems that Dako never got those splints causing his joints to develop poorly which means he walks a little funny and might have some joint pain. This goofy guy just wants a fresh start with the right person who will love him as he is! To meet Dako, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website so that we can get you scheduled for an appointment.Dako is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccines. His adoption fee is $175.
