My story

Sterling is a little bit shy but once he trusts you he is the biggest love bug. He wants to be in your lap. He gives head butts and drools with happiness. He's the sweetest thing! He's hard to take pictures of because when you look at him, he runs to you. We think he needs a quieter home with someone willing to take the time to make friends with him. He is afraid of the man in his foster home, so we think a female home would probably be best. The male cats in the house love him and groom him. The females have bullied him in the past so a chill female cat would probably be best.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Please see our Adoption Policies here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TZjrOP29mqXvcHEC3zPaKXXnS80LaVGMA45Lc0-Z2MI/edit?usp=sharingInformation about the rescue and adoption process can also be found at www.stlpetrescue.com along with a full listing of our adoptable pets. Our adoption fees:Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more. Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more. This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sterling, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
