My story

Pierre has lived at MAHS on and off since 2022, adopted and returned several times. One adopter returned him for being too hyper and literally asked to exchange him for a puppy (that didn’t happen, BTW). Pierre originally came to us with a severe flea infestation and was being neglected in his home… locked in a crate all day and night. He’s never had a fair chance.Our favorite things about Pierre: He LOVES attention and wants to be in your lap all the time. He’s energetic and playful! He gets the zoomies in the yards outback and spins in circles as fast as he can. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. He loves people!! He’d do great in a home with kids as long as they know he might knock over small ones when he gets excited. He’s been in homes with other dogs, and we believe if he finds the right playmate he’d be good with them (no cats).Pierre deserves the world. Help him find it?More information?
