Meet Curly – A Gentle Soul Searching for Safety and Love 🐾💔 Sweet Curly was saved just in time—from a fate no dog deserves. Since arriving on March 30, 2024, he’s been slowly finding his footing, but the shelter is no place for a dog like him. Fearful and overwhelmed, Curly needs a chance to heal in a quiet, patient, and loving home. Curly isn’t aggressive—he’s just scared. The world has not been kind to him so far, but we believe, with all our hearts, that it’s not too late for this tender soul to discover what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. He’s very sensitive to noise and would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home without young children. He would greatly benefit from having another dog—especially a kind and confident female—to help show him the way. Despite his fears, Curly is sweet and longs for connection, even if he doesn’t quite know how to ask for it yet. Right now, Curly is too frightened to be touched, even for something as simple as a brushing. But we know that with time, consistency, and zero pressure, he’ll begin to trust. He just needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to move at his pace. Someone who sees not just who he is today, but who he could become. Curly has never had a real chance.
