My story

Meet Jameson! This 1 year old Border Collie/Husky mix is ready to find his forever home. Jameson is described as a very curious and sweet pup. While he can be a little shy at first, it’s not hard to win his heart over. Just give him lots of treats and endless head scratches! He gets comfortable very quickly and becomes a goofy pup who loves to sleep with his belly up and paws in the air. He already knows some basic commands like sit, down, off and up. Like most younger dogs, he’s still learning his manners with proper play techniques. He likes a rough play style, but his fosters are working hard to socialized him so he can play with dogs of all energy levels. Jameson sleeps in a kennel through the night. In his short time in his foster home, he’s almost completely mastered potty training. He has an occasional accident, but we think he’ll be fully trained soon. Jameson had no leash manners, but with some modifications and training, he is already improving quickly. He would benefit from a home that wants to continue his ongoing training to help him become the best version of himself. Jameson’s ideal home would have a house with a yard so he can run around and be silly. No yard? It’s not a deal breaker! He just needs daily walks and adventures in the outside world. Jameson would love to live in a home with another dog friend who he can learn from. He loves to mimic behaviors and learn by their guidance.
