My story

Fig (Figaro) – Available for Adoption Fig has been waiting far too long for his forever home. Fig was picked up near one of BFF’s feeding sites and it was determined that he was not feral but was frightened from his time on the streets. He started out as a very scared cat and would run and hide whenever new faces would appear at the house. He was being fostered by our very own Joni and we think there was a transition at some point and she had been keeping him a secret to enjoy for herself. When you first meet Fig, he may be a little nervous, but he can’t help himself and his inner desire to love and be loved will bring him out. This gorgeous boy will shower you with affection and is so very happy to receive pets, scritches, and belly rubs (he has the softest fur!). He will come sit beside you and cuddle up. He likes to play with wand toys and balls and likes catnip and silvervine. He also likes to look out the window to watch birds and critters. Fig has made such amazing progress, and his foster mom was his best friend until she suddenly and tragically passed away. He is in dire need of a new best friend and is so deserving. He would do best as an only kitty and with an adopter who is home a lot. So, if you are looking for the purr’fect gentleman who will enjoy couch time with you, come adopt Fig! Fig is approximately 3 years old, neutered, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all his shots. If you are interested in meeting him, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Fig, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
