My story

Simon is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing cat looking for his forever home.He prefers wet food but will happily eat a mix of wet and dry food with a little water added. Simon is quite the talker — he’ll meow to let you know it’s mealtime, or if he hears you elsewhere in the house and wants to join you! He especially loves attention and will rub against your legs when he finds you. He’s lived peacefully with a kitten (they would nap together under the bed!), an older cat who isn’t very friendly (Simon respectfully backs off when needed), and two dogs — a mellow senior Yorkie and a playful Lab mix. He’s easygoing with new people and has been calm even when getting a bath, though he doesn`t love water.Simon’s home environment is mostly calm, with people working or in class during the day and the animals free-roaming. He loves belly rubs, head rubs, being held like a baby, and sleeping under the covers with his people. His favorite sleeping spots are under the bed, in the closet, or right on top of you!Simon uses a special litter blend that works best for his needs, as he is diabetic and tends to produce larger clumps. He gets a special diet and an insulin injection twice a day. He`s not a big toy player but enjoys random floor items and his cactus tree scratcher. He’s a couch potato who loves cuddles, making biscuits before bed, and sneaking around so quietly you might not even hear him — but when he runs, you`ll definitely know!If you are ready for a low-key older guy that is friend to all, Simon may be just the guy for you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt SIMON*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
