My story

BASICS Housetrained, litter box trained, good with dogs, good with cats, good with kids Chloe has not had any accidents in the house. I take her out every 1-2 hours during the day and at night she is in a kennel for 8 hours. We are working on 'go potty and go poop' command for when she is in the back yard. Details on leash training, crate training and other training commands known Chloe is GREAT on a leash. Doesn't pull and has been doing well working on a heel. Chloe does good in her kennel, she goes there throughout the day when she needs to calm down. Details on personal history, if known (how did he/she arrive at the shelter) Dog's or Cat's Characteristics Specific behavior examples/experiences that illustrate their qualities are a big help! 1. Describe cuddling behavior/affection level Chloe wants to be very cuddly, and sometimes jumps or tries to get on the couch without permission to do so, during this I use redirection to get desired behavior. 2. Describe play behavior and favorite toys Chloe and my dog do like to play, so far the only toy that chloe has liked has been a rubber bone and a rope toy. 3. Describe activity level Chloe has a lot of energy and is still learning how to have chill time. 4. What are the best adjectives to describe the dog or cat? Goofy, desire to please, sweet 5. What does the dog or cat specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives (ex. Maybe a good adjective for the dog is "loving". You know that because he lays his head in your lap.) She wants to have my attention all the time and tries to always be close to me. 6. What is the dog's/cat's best qualities? 7. What are your favorite things about this dog/cat? Cute behaviors? 8. What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this dog/cat? Her underbite 9. What would the ideal home look like for this dog/cat? She does well on walks, so someone who likes to have a friend while walking. 10. Anything else that would make this dog/cat stand out to an adopter?
